Data Entry / Order Entry Specialist
Manufacturing Environment | 6-9 Month Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry / Order Entry Specialist to support a busy manufacturing team during a 6-9 month contract assignment. This role is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining customer and order data while supporting day‑to‑day operational and administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Review orders for completeness, pricing, and accuracy
- Update and maintain order information in internal systems
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, production, logistics) to resolve order discrepancies
- Assist with order tracking, status updates, and basic reporting
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in data entry, order entry, or administrative support
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage high volumes of data in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain experience is a plus
