Project Administrator / Procore Specialist
Location: Charlotte, NC (Fully Onsite) – will also work at different sites
Hours: Typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (8:00 AM latest start time)
Employment Type: Temporary / Project-Based Assignment
Position Overview
Our client, a rapidly growing construction services company, is seeking a Project Administrator / Procore Specialist to provide immediate support to their project management team. This role was created to address an urgent business need and requires someone with strong project administration skills and hands-on experience using Procore.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers and project teams
- Maintain project documentation and contract administration records
- Utilize Procore to track project activities, documentation, and progress
- Visit construction job sites to document completed work and project milestones
- Upload and organize project photos and supporting documentation within Procore
- Verify completed work and ensure activities are accurately reflected in project management systems
- Coordinate with field personnel, crew leaders, and project stakeholders
- Assist with reporting, project updates, and data management
- Support software navigation and process adoption among team members
- Help maintain organization and workflow efficiency for senior leadership and project teams
Qualifications
- Previous project administration, project coordination, or construction administration experience
- Hands-on experience with Procore strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and documentation management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
- Comfortable working in both an office and active construction environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software platforms
- Reliable transportation to the Charlotte office and local job sites as needed
Preferred Background
- Construction, roofing, waterproofing, or commercial contracting industry experience
- Experience supporting Project Managers or construction operations teams
- Interest in developing a long-term career within project management
