Our client, a confidential Boston-based tech company, is seeking a temporary administrative assistant to support senior executives. The contract runs through June to provide maternity leave coverage and offers an hourly pay rate of $30. There is an onsite expectation of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and one additional day of choice) and remote work the remaining two days. Hours are 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct administrative support to senior executives, including heavy calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Manage expense reports, reconcile receipts, and ensure timely processing
- Coordinate domestic and occasional international travel and prepare detailed itineraries
- Act as a professional and discreet liaison for internal and external stakeholders
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve scheduling or logistical conflicts
- Assist with presentations, reports, and general administrative materials
- Partner with the current assistant during the transition and training period
- Support event planning and logistics as needed
Candidate Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience supporting executives in a corporate environment, ideally within the tech industry
- Strong calendar management, expense processing, and organizational skills
- High level of reliability, commitment, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and related tools
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
