Our client, an educational advocacy nonprofit organization, is seeking a temporary Program Associate to support program implementation and capacity-building initiatives in Washington, DC!
Responsibilities:
- Support project management efforts by creating project plans, setting milestone targets, and ensuring initiatives are completed on schedule.
- Coordinate and activate program initiatives.
- Manage stakeholder communication, project budgets, and administrative requirements.
- Coordinate celebration events and support additional program-related initiatives.
- Facilitate communications and logistics for corporate volunteer initiatives.
- Build relationships with program implementers, volunteers, and community partners while occasionally traveling to support program events nationwide.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years of experience in project management, capacity building, account management, or related fields.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is preferred.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and Asana.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Position Information:
- $22/hr-$24/hr while temporary.
- 3-4 month temporary assignment with potential to convert.
- Hours are typically 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
- Hybrid schedule: onsite 3 days per week after training.
- Full-time onsite during the first 2-3 weeks for training.
