Our client is seeking a polished and dependable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for their law firm in Rehoboth Beach, DE. This contract-to-hire position is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting clients and visitors, handling incoming calls, and supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, organized, and comfortable handling confidential information in a professional office environment.

About the Job:

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors, and other guests.
• Greet and assist visitors professionally and notify the appropriate employee of their arrival.
• Answer and route incoming calls, transfer calls to the appropriate person or department, and take accurate messages.
• Receive and route deliveries, mail, packages, and other incoming items according to firm procedures.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and professional reception area.
• Communicate front desk or office issues that require additional follow-up.
• Maintain professionalism and discretion when handling information involving clients, attorneys, employees, and firm matters.
• Provide additional administrative and office support as needed.

About You:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative, or professional office experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a polished and professional demeanor.
• Comfortable answering phones and interacting with clients, visitors, and employees at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a front-facing position.
• Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Previous law firm experience is a plus, but not required.

This contract-to-hire opportunity is 100% onsite in Rehoboth Beach, DE and follows a Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM schedule. The role offers $19/hour while under contract and $40,000 annually upon permanent conversion.
