Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with non-profit in Washington D.C. to hire a Paralegal to support its global Legal Department. This role helps advance the organization’s mission by ensuring strong legal operations, compliance, and coordination across worldwide Programs.
Key Responsibilities

Support attorneys and Legal Department staff with daily operations and active matters

Maintain organized electronic records in iManage

Draft and review correspondence, memoranda, and routine consulting agreements
-
Conduct legal and factual research
-
Manage government filings related to fundraising, lobbying, and compliance
-
Co‑manage accreditation for 200+ global Programs and communicate with regional staff
-
Maintain Board and Committee record books and support the Nominating Committee
-
Assist with internal policy updates and contract templates
-
Support global employment initiatives

Provide support on litigation, risk management, and insurance matters
-
Occasional travel to regional events
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
-
Experience in a nonprofit or corporate legal department
-
Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
-
Familiarity with compliance, administrative filings, and contract administration
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred

Experience with corporate law, estate planning, trademarks, accreditation, or litigation
-
Familiarity with government filings, board support, iManage, or Smartsheet
-
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or in global environments
