Accounting Manager

Location: Hybrid Bay Area

A well-established organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing finance team. This role will oversee key accounting functions, support process improvements, and provide leadership within a complex operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Lead and mentor a small team
• Support month-end close and financial reporting activities
• Review reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Partner with leadership on special projects and system initiatives
• Assist with maintaining effective internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience working within a multi-entity or complex environment preferred
• ERP system experience required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently and drive results

• Experience improving accounting processes and workflows
• Background supporting high-volume transaction environments
• Experience with system implementations or upgrades
