Administrative Assistant to $70K – Financial Support Role!
Our client, a large real estate organization, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their accounting function, including payment and deposit operations. This position sits at the intersection of administration, coordination, and financial workflow support, with full ownership over check processing, tracking, and follow-through on banking relationships. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience in financial services and thrives in process-oriented environments.

- Responsibilities include managing the end-to-end flow of incoming and outgoing payments; overseeing daily check scanning, deposits, and documentation across multiple banks; handling physical mail distribution and preparing outgoing checks and courier packages; serving as the primary point of coordination for deposit activity and related inquiries; maintaining accurate tracking logs and proactively resolving open items; partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to established banking procedures; supporting efforts to transition payment methods from paper to electronic formats; and contributing ideas to improve efficiency, controls, and workflow consistency.
- The ideal candidate possesses prior experience in an financial services, administrative role; strong comfort working with numbers, payment processes, and financial documentation; exceptional attention to detail with a track record of error-free execution; a highly organized, admin-first mindset with strong ownership and follow-through; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team-based environment.
This opportunity offers flexible scheduling with an expectation of 40 hours or less per week, paid overtime if worked, and free parking!
