Executive Assistant to $70K – Supportive Workplace!
Our client, a mission-oriented academic organization, is seeking an Executive Assistant to help coordinate faculty-related activities, manage complex calendars, and support governance initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of administrative experience.
Position Details:
- Location: Hartford, CT
- Work Model: In Office
- Degree: Preferred
- Responsibilities include managing calendars, inboxes, and daily priorities of the executive; coordinating and supporting leadership meetings including agenda preparation, materials, minutes, and follow‑up communication; maintaining faculty and affiliated contracts and supporting onboarding logistics; coordinating workplans and compiling reports for institutional reporting; managing academic calendars, events, and special projects; arranging domestic travel and processing expense and reconciliation requests; and handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
- The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational and time‑management skills; ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines independently; strong written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail and follow‑through; proven discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters; familiarity with academic, nonprofit, or mission‑driven environments; and administrative experience supporting senior leadership.
