Overview
Role Type: 6-month contract, strong potential to convert to fulltime
Location: Onsite in Denver, CO
A growing construction-focused organization is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project leadership on active construction initiatives. This role is highly cross-functional and plays a critical part in keeping projects on track by coordinating communication, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment across internal teams.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable following up across departments to drive timelines and project completion. Experience supporting construction or project management teams is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers/Directors with day-to-day coordination across active construction projects
- Track project milestones, deadlines, and outstanding action items within project management systems
- Proactively follow up with internal teams (including accounting/AP and other departments) to ensure timely progress
- Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reporting
- Assist with administrative tasks including meeting coordination, notes, and document control
- Monitor project workflow to ensure key deliverables are completed on schedule
- Serve as a central point of communication between cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience in project coordination, construction administration, or similar role
- Experience supporting construction, engineering, or project management teams strongly preferred
- Familiarity with project tracking or PM software
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
