We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Client Intake and Conflicts Specialist for a temporary to permanant role with our client, a Dallas law firm. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of our client onboarding and conflict resolution processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with new business intake and conflicts of interest, and be ready to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct conflict of interest searches for new business intake and lateral hire candidates
- Analyze search results and provide feedback to attorneys
- Maintain accurate client and matter information in the time and billing system
- Assist in all aspects of Conflicts department operations
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, staff, and clients
- Create and maintain matter numbers for various account types
- Coordinate with Records Department on matter closures and transfers
- Respond to inquiries related to intake and conflicts
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all client and firm matters
- Support special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in new business intake and/or conflicts of interest
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Experience with Elite 3E, Intapp Open, or similar systems required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
