Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to support a law firm client with commerical litigation matters. This role requires strong administrative skills, familiarity with litigation procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.
This position will need to be present in the Philadelphia office on a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation lifecycle, from case inception through trial and resolution
- Prepare, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery materials
- File documents in federal and state courts, including electronic filings via CM/ECF and applicable state e-filing systems
- Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, court appearances, and client meetings, while tracking all critical deadlines
- Organize, maintain, and update electronic and physical case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of all case materials
- Coordinate logistics for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, including arranging court reporters, videographers, and conference space
- Assist with discovery processes, including document collection, production, and organization of exhibits and case materials
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors
- Prepare trial materials, including exhibit binders, witness files, and trial notebooks, and provide support during trial as needed
- Track and enter attorney time, assist with billing processes, and support administrative tasks such as expense reporting
Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal certification is a plus.

2+ years of experience in a litigation legal assistant or paralegal role, preferably in a law firm.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.

High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with legal billing practices and time entry software.

Experience with litigation databases and electronic filing systems.
