Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Texas-licensed Corporate Counsel for a fully onsite, temporary to permanent position with our client in Dallas. This is a full-time opportunity, Monday – Friday, during standard business hours.
The ideal candidate will 5+ years of relevant experience. A combination of law firm and in-house experience is preferred but not required. A strong background in commercial contracts, licensing, and real estate or hospitality law preferred but not required.
Essential duties include:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, franchise and licensing agreements, subleases, airport concession agreements, NDAs, and supply contracts.
- Advise internal teams on contract interpretation, risk management, and compliance with airport authority requirements and brand standards.
- Support the development team in new location agreements and renewals.
- Manage and oversee TABC licensing applications, renewals, and compliance across multiple restaurant concepts and airport jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with local, state, and federal regulatory bodies to maintain all necessary operational permits and business licenses.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting hospitality, airport, and alcohol licensing operations.
- Review and advise on RFPs, RFQs, and concession solicitations from airports and municipalities.
- Coordinate the legal response process, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements, disclosure obligations, and deadlines.
- Draft and negotiate resulting concession agreements and related documents.
- Support corporate entity management, annual filings, and maintenance of corporate records.
- Assist in developing internal compliance and document retention policies.
- Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation, labor and employment issues, and specialized regulatory matters.
- Provide day-to-day legal guidance to operations, HR, finance, and development teams.
- Serve as a practical, solutions-oriented advisor focused on supporting growth while mitigating risk.
- Help drive efficiency by improving contract templates, processes, and internal review workflows.
