Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Secretary for a full-time, on-site position in our Estate Planning and Business Transactions departments. Your key responsibilities will include organizing digital files, conducting legal research, typing and proofreading documents, managing deadlines, coordinating schedules, and communicating with clients and external parties. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and can thrive both independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
– Relevant experience in a law office with digital file management
– Strong skills in legal research and correspondence drafting
– Exceptional proofreading and attention to detail
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the iManage document management system
– Familiarity with court communications and e-filing
