Data Engineer (#397855E)

Will build and manage Snowflake schemas, tables, and views that optimize data accessibility and performance across the organization, enabling analysts and business users to derive insights more effectively. Interpret requirements from a ticket-based workflow, analyze requests, and deliver solutions through SQL and Python code that support evolving business operations, strategies, and reporting needs. Develop database objects with clear, standardized coding practices and version control through GitHub to ensure consistency, traceability, and collaboration across engineering teams. Implement Fabric pipelines (or similar tools) to ingest and process data into the Lakehouse environment, while ensuring statistical efficiency, scalability, and data quality. Acquire, transform, and load data from multiple sources into Snowflake; maintain the Lakehouse architecture to support ongoing ingestion and integration of enterprise-wide datasets. Design efficient data models in Snowflake, defining schema structures, relationships, indexes, and partitions to ensure performant query execution and scalability of analytics workloads. Create mapping documents and data dictionaries that capture transformation rules and source-to-target lineage across Snowflake and Lakehouse pipelines. Prepare high-level and detailed designs for ETL/ELT patterns, ensuring that ingestion, transformation, and load processes are optimized and aligned with best practices in Snowflake. Maintain standards for delivery, quality, and performance across SQL scripts, pipelines, and stored logic, ensuring data integrity and reliable reporting downstream. Provide solutions to complex data integration and performance issues by analyzing existing code, optimizing joins and transformations, and ensuring best practices are followed in Snowflake.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires a Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or a closely related field, along with one (1) year of experience, pre or post Master’s Degree, in the Software Industry.
