A premier financial services corporation is seeking a highly experienced Trust & Estate Paralegal to support Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients with complex, multi-jurisdictional wealth structures. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment supporting sophisticated estate planning and fiduciary administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive paralegal support for complex estate and trust administration matters, including multi-entity and cross-border structures
- Coordinate closely with attorneys, tax advisors, fiduciary officers, and family office representatives to ensure seamless execution of client strategies
- Assist in the preparation, review, and management of estate planning documents, trust agreements, and corporate entity records
- Track and organize entity structures, ownership schedules, and capital activity across private investments and layered LLCs
- Support fiduciary administration processes, including trust distributions, compliance tracking, and documentation management
- Assist with advanced estate planning strategies, including GRATs, private trust companies, and post-mortem planning initiatives
- Maintain detailed records related to cash flow, liquidity events, and high-value assets (including held-away and lifestyle assets)
- Contribute to client deliverables and reporting with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
- Deliver a white-glove client experience by supporting a relationship-driven, non-transactional service model
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in trust & estate administration, private wealth, or a related legal environment
- Strong working knowledge of estate planning documents, fiduciary responsibilities, and entity management
- Experience supporting UHNW clients, family offices, or complex asset structures preferred
- Familiarity with advanced planning concepts (e.g., GRATs, tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies)
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority matters simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with estate visualization or tracking tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required
