Senior Accountant
This is an opportunity to work cross functionally within Accounting and Finance to include financial reporting, technical accounting, month end close, consolidations, financial analysis and much more. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting including general ledger account reconciliations
- Develops forecasts using multiple assumptions
- Coordinates quarterly dividend payable with the Treasury Department
- Reconciles bank statements
- Prepare journal entries for monthly close
- Prepares month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and required items for financial close to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to defined standards.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
- Assists with accounting-related projects and accounting research on an as-needed basis
- Records quarterly employee stock purchase plan transactions
- Maintain clear communication paths with stakeholders
- Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in accounting
- Education: Requires Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
