Our client, a non-profit organization based in Manhattan, is looking for a Controller to join their team. You will be reporting to the CFO and working alongside the VP of Financial Planning and Strategy. This controller will be managing two direct reports and 15 indirect reports. Responsibilities include month end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, audit, payroll, budgeting, etc.
The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of accounting experience with at least 5 being in a leadership role. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related is required as well as a CPA. Payroll, international, and acquisition experience are a plus as well as proficiency in NetSuite. Although it is a non-profit, the company operates more similarly to a for-profit so for-profit experience is preferred.
