Job Summary
A company in the Insurance industry is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting internal and external reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Assist in the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and identify and resolve discrepancies

Support the preparation of audited financial statements and coordinate with external auditors

Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
-
Assist with tax filings, regulatory filings, and other compliance-related activities
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
3+ years of accounting experience
- Industry exerience is a plus
