Position Overview:
A well-established manufacturing company is looking to add an experienced Pricing Associate to their finance team. This highly visible role will drive strategic pricing initiatives, support margin improvement efforts, and serve as a key business partner to sales, product management, and finance teams. The ideal candidate will be analytically driven, detail-oriented, and capable of turning complex data into actionable pricing strategies that support revenue and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and manage pricing strategies across multiple product lines and regions

Conduct pricing and margin analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend adjustments

Partner with sales and product teams to support competitive pricing proposals, bids, and contracts

Evaluate and track price performance, including monitoring price realization, discounting trends, and elasticity

Support annual price reviews and pricing model enhancements in coordination with finance and commercial leaders

Utilize business intelligence tools and ERP data to deliver dashboards and pricing reports to leadership

Analyze customer, market, and competitor data to guide strategic decisions and optimize profitability

Lead or support cross-functional pricing projects, including system upgrades, price harmonization, and process automation

Ensure pricing practices comply with global governance standards and internal controls
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus

2+ years of pricing, financial analysis, or commercial analytics experience, preferably in a manufacturing or B2B environment

Strong proficiency in Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/SUMIFS, scenario modeling); experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is highly preferred

ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and familiarity with pricing modules a strong plus

Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets

Strong business acumen and problem-solving ability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to effectively present findings to stakeholders and influence decision-making
