Overview:
A global manufacturing company is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day financial reporting and consolidations efforts. This role will be responsible for managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP/IFRS, and overseeing the consolidation of multiple international entities. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to streamline processes in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including preparation and review of consolidated financial statements.

Lead the global consolidation process across multiple international subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (and/or IFRS) and internal accounting policies, including proper application of technical accounting guidance.

Partner with regional finance teams to gather and review entity-level results, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment with corporate reporting requirements.

Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and ensuring proper documentation.

Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiencies within the reporting and consolidation functions.

Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.

Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including consolidations and financial reporting in a global company environment.

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (IFRS experience a plus).

Experience working with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Hyperion, etc.).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
