Position Overview:
A publicly traded commercial services company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing tax team. This role will primarily focus on tax compliance and provision work, supporting both federal and state filings as well as quarterly and annual tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local corporate income/franchise tax returns.

Assist with estimated tax payments and extensions.

Coordinate with external tax preparers and auditors as needed.

Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions.

Calculate and document current and deferred tax assets and liabilities.

Assist with process improvements and automation of recurring tasks.

Collaborate with FP&A, accounting, and legal teams on tax-related matters.

Support special projects as asssigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience
- Public accounting experience is a plus
