Key Responsibilities
- Supervise accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee cost allocation and fixed asset accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries related to assigned areas.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows.
- Prepare and review financial analyses to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with auditors during year-end and periodic reviews.
- Assist with special projects such as system implementations, process enhancements, and acquisition integrations.
- Support other accounting functions as needed, including tax filings and payroll-related accruals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred but not required.
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
