Our client, a highly recognized entertainment organization located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role will support a broad range of accounting functions within a collaborative and stable finance group, offering strong exposure and long-term growth potential.
On a day-to-day basis, you will analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts, assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, prepare bank reconciliations, and support weekly payroll audits. The role will also include exposure to investment portfolio analysis, inventory control analysis, corporate tax provision support, and various ad hoc projects across the accounting team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and well-established organization. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of general accounting principles. Candidates coming directly from public accounting or with a blend of public/private experience are encouraged to apply. Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system is a plus. 5 days onsite.
