Financial Reporting Manager

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join its corporate accounting and finance team. This highly visible position will be responsible for overseeing external financial reporting activities, supporting SEC compliance requirements, researching technical accounting matters, and ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in public accounting and/or public company reporting and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Research and document accounting conclusions related to complex and non-routine transactions.
• Prepare technical accounting memorandums and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the completion of quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Evaluate accounting implications of business initiatives, contracts, and transactions in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Support and enhance internal controls over financial reporting and compliance initiatives.
• Contribute to accounting policy development, process improvements, and reporting efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
