About the Opportunity
A growing organization in the project-based / services environment is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its expanding accounting and finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain broad, hands-on exposure across multiple areas of accounting, including project accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial operations.

The Role
This position will support day-to-day accounting operations while working closely with internal teams across projects, vendors, and finance.
You’ll gain exposure to multiple functional areas, making this an ideal role for someone who wants to learn quickly, build a strong foundation, and grow within accounting.
The team values work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn as much as prior experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project accounting, including budgets, cash flow tracking, and AR coordination
- Support accounts payable, including invoice entry, coding, and vendor communication
- Assist with accounts receivable, including billing, invoice tracking, and follow-ups
- Maintain and organize documentation related to contracts, POs, and change orders
- Support project cost tracking and ensure accurate financial records
- Assist with month-end close and reporting processes
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Core Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field preferred)
- Strong Excel skills and general Microsoft Office proficiency
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Eagerness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Experience Level
- Entry-level candidates welcome (strong accounting internships or foundation preferred)
- Ideal range: 1-3 years of experience
