Rapidly growing company based in Delaware county is looking to build out their FP&A team:
The FP&A Manager will have an active role in monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, and forecasting. This position is critical to our monthly board and management reporting, business reviews, and annual/multi-year planning.
Strategic Financial Planning:
- Lead the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and investment planning processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in budgeting and forecasting, ensuring precision and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee the planning process and prepare financial materials for executive reviews, including strategic plans and business reviews.
FP&A Leadership and Reporting
- Interface with finance leaders across divisions, corporate finance teams, and senior leadership to provide monthly financial updates, variance analysis, and actionable insights.
- Manage and optimize the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reporting packages for the board of directors, executive team, and senior business leaders
- Lead monthly and quarterly fluctuation analysis for revenue and spend, assist with capital investment evaluations.
- Partner with Corporate Treasury to optimize cash and cash forecasting improving financial outcomes.
Strategic Business Partnering:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering data-driven insights on financial performance, business growth, and strategic decisions (e.g., capital investments, pricing models).
- Conduct special financial analyses related to business initiatives and evolving business models.
- Partnering with internal Finance Business Partners around spend results and spend forecasting, other projects and requirements.
Financial Policies and Process Improvements:
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial policies while leading process improvements to enhance financial modeling.
- Develop and maintain standard procedures and ensure timely reporting.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and inclusion.
- Provide coaching to team members, helping them grow professionally while ensuring they meet evolving business needs.
Key Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CFA or CPA is a plus.
Experience:
6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
