Our client located in Irving, TX is looking to bring on a Sr. Accounting Manager Consultant on a contract basis. This person will be directly responsible for handling month, quarter and the year-end close process.
Responsibilities:
Review and reconcile all balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare and post adjusting journal entries to reflect the true financial position
Generate and review year-end financial statements summarizing fiscal year performance
Perform year-end close activities, including finalizing accounting records and closing the books
Execute year-end close processes to roll forward opening balances into the new fiscal year
Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and audit-ready in compliance with accounting standards
