Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: North Bethesda, MD

Overview:
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role ensures timely processing of transactions and supports the overall financial health of the organization. This role is fully onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank activity.

  • Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.

  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.

  • Support month-end close processes, including journal entries and basic reconciliations.

  • Maintain organized financial records and support audit or reporting requests.

Qualifications:

  • Prior bookkeeping or accounting support experience.

  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
