Job Title: Project Manager – ERP Implementation
Location: Washington, DC
Overview:
Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a client in Washington, DC in their search for a Project Manager to support an enterprise-wide ERP implementation. This role will focus on leading and coordinating the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central while partnering with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure a successful rollout. This position is hybrid with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage ERP implementation initiatives, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Serve as a senior consultant and project lead, overseeing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration.
Partner with accounting, finance, and business teams to gather requirements and ensure system alignment with operational needs.
Support audit preparation activities, including documentation, system controls, and coordination with auditors during implementation.
Provide status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience managing ERP system implementations; Business Central experience strongly preferred.
Experience working within accounting or finance environments, with prior corporate experience (e.g., banking, investment firms) preferred.
Working knowledge of audit processes and audit preparation.
Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
