Key Job Duties
- Process bi-weekly payroll for both office and field employees using HRMS and Sage300 (Timberline), including importing timesheets, making pay adjustments, and ensuring direct deposit accuracy.
- Prepare and reconcile certified payroll reports using systems like E-Mars, LCP Tracker, and DLLR, and submit timely payments for garnishments, union dues, and benefit vendors.
- Maintain and update employee data, including onboarding and terminations, benefit changes, and PTO accruals in both Workforce Go and Sage300.
- Reconcile and file all payroll tax returns at the federal, state, and unemployment levels on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Upload and maintain accurate payroll documentation, including check stubs and reports, while ensuring timely communication with employees regarding time entry corrections.
- Perform employment verifications and respond to information requests from insurance companies, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
- Associate degree or at least 5 years of full-cycle payroll experience, preferably in the GC/Subcontractor construction industry.
- Experience with certified payroll and job cost processing is essential.
- Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycor, Workforce Go); Sage300 (Timberline) experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, especially in payroll, accounts payable, and job costing.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
