A dynamic investment management organization is looking for a Financial Reporting & Data Analyst to join their collaborative finance team. This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering trends, interpreting financial data, and delivering critical insights that support strategic decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Aggregate and analyze data from internal and external sources to assess financial health and performance.
- Build and enhance financial models that inform key business strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide insights and context to financial data for use by leadership.
- Perform variance and trend analysis, identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
- Assist in the development of dashboards and reports to communicate data-driven stories.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities through detailed comparative analysis.
- Participate in ongoing process improvements and reporting automation efforts.
- Engage in ad hoc reporting and special projects across finance and operations.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or reporting, preferably within financial services or asset management.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and familiarity with FP&A best practices.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of Anaplan is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for solving complex problems using data.
- Ability to communicate technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently or in a team environment.
- CPA track or public accounting experience is considered a strong asset.
