Our downtown Cleveland law firm is seeking a Payroll & Retirement Plans Analyst to ensure smooth and accurate payroll operations and benefits administration. This hybrid role requires precision, discretion, and strong analytical skills in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage onboarding payroll setup and termination pay processing
- Review timecards and ensure accurate payroll, taxes, benefits, and deductions
- Handle leave tracking, benefit payments, and vendor invoice reconciliation
- Support audits, partner payment tracking, and pension contribution updates
- Analyze payroll data, GL entries, and employee demographic trends
- Respond to employee inquiries and guide payroll-related matters
- Ensure multi-state compliance and identify opportunities to streamline processes
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of payroll experience; ADP Workforce Now a plus
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, formulas)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and service-focused
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities
