Accounts Receivable Specialist – Solon, OH
On-Site | Full-Time | Manufacturing
We’re hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in Solon, OH. This on-site role supports billing, collections, cash application, credit card processing, and customer account management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Process daily deposits, apply cash receipts, and handle credit card transactions
- Manage customer master data and process credit applications
- Make collection calls and follow up on past-due accounts
- Review service and sales orders for accuracy
- Prepare and process credit/debit memos and RMAs
- Support invoicing and backup as needed
- Collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles
What You Bring
- High school diploma or associate’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 2-3 years of collections and cash application experience
- Strong Excel, Word, and ERP system skills (Avante or IFS a plus)
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and math skills for financial accuracy
