This role ensures accurate accounting of revenues and expenditures, compliance with grant terms and conditions, preparation of financial reports, and coordination with program staff, funders, and auditors. Key Responsibilities

Set up new grant awards in the general ledger or grant accounting system and ensure proper chart of account coding.

Monitor grant budgets vs actual expenditures; prepare monthly or quarterly budget variance analyses.

Record and post journal entries, accruals, amortizations and adjusting entries related to grant funds.

Reconcile grant balances (receivables, payables, prepaid and accrued items) and maintain supporting documentation.

Coordinate invoicing, draw‐downs or reimbursements from granting agencies.

Ensure that expenses charged to each grant are allowable, allocable and in compliance with the grant agreement, internal policies and applicable regulations (e.g., federal Uniform Guidance if applicable).

Prepare and deliver financial reports to program managers, granting agencies and senior finance leadership.
