PAYROLL:
- Bi-weekly
- Multi-state- 39 states (plus Canada)
- NO union, NO certified payroll
BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION:
- The other part of the job will be supporting benefits admin duties and ad hoc needs- could include open enrollment, HRIS system maintenance, answering employee questions, planning a wellness fair, etc.
- Candidates do NOT need previous experience in this area, just need candidates who want to learn!
- NO employee relations (hiring, firing, etc..)
- This is NOT a managerial level position- individual contributor- but GREAT opportunity for the payroll candidate that wants more- dip their toes in the benefits side of the business
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of hands‑on payroll experience, including multi‑state, multi-FEIN, & Canadian payroll processing
- 0+ years of experience in benefits administration or a strong demonstrated interest in growing in this area
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxation, and compliance requirements for the US and Canada
- Experience using HRIS and payroll systems (ADP and SAP Success Factors strongly preferred)
PREFERRED QULAIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or progress toward certification
- Experience supporting HRIS, Benefits, and Total Rewards Functions
