Beacon Hill is partnering with multiple NYC-based organizations to hire Senior Accountants for immediate contract needs. These roles are open due to team bandwidth and leave coverage, and require someone who can step in quickly and operate independently.
Environments range from established, structured accounting teams to fast-paced, high-growth organizations, so adaptability is key.
Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Analyze variances and support accuracy of financial data
- Work within accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, ERP platforms) and Excel for reporting and analysis
- Assist with ad hoc projects and support leadership in a dynamic environment
Requirements (Must-Have)
- 4+ years of accounting experience (GL or close-focused)
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to hit the ground running and manage competing priorities
Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar)
- Background in fast-paced or high-growth environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
