We are partnering with a client to identify a Procurement Specialist to support their team on a FLMA covreage. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on supplier/vendor management and strategic sourcing within facilities-related categories.

Overview:
The Procurement Specialist will lead sourcing strategy across defined categories (facilities, service contractors, landscaping, HVAC), working closely with internal stakeholders to support business needs. This role will oversee day-to-day procurement activities, supplier performance, and contract execution while providing strategic sourcing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and execute sourcing strategies
  • Manage vendor/supplier relationships, including performance tracking and issue resolution
  • Oversee sourcing activities, contracts, and procurement lifecycle processes
  • Support category strategy development, sourcing pipelines, and cost-saving initiatives
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure service level agreements are met
  • Lead day-to-day contract activities, ensuring compliance and timely execution
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong partnerships with existing vendors
  • Act as a subject matter expert on procurement practices, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare reports and materials for leadership on sourcing activity and performance

Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing required
  • Background supporting facilities-related categories (facilities services, contractors, HVAC, landscaping) preferred
  • Strong vendor management and supplier performance experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Accounting, or related field)
  • Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of specific degree focus
