FINANCIAL ANALYST: DETAILS
Title: Financial Analyst (Hybrid)
Location: Kendallville Indiana
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $30-35/hour (depending on experience)
Type: Contract (12-20 weeks)
Hours: Monday-Friday | Standard Business Hours
Hybrid: Yes. 4 days onsite 1 day remote
REQUIREMENTS: FINANCIAL ANALYST
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience as a financial analyst
* Strong knowledge of general accounting, GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
* Strong Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and communicate financial information.
RESPONSIBILITIES: FINANCIAL ANALYST
* Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
* Support daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and business planning for a facility of approximately 170 employees.
* Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, explain variances, and support business decisions.
* Manage accounting activities related to inventory, purchasing, manufacturing costs, and capital spending.
* Partner with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies and improve accuracy.
* Maintain fixed-asset and capital project records while monitoring spending and project progress.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives
