Project Manager – Investment Manager
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 base salary plus bonus
A well-established investment management organization is seeking a Project Manager to support a growing business unit and partner with teams across investments, operations, technology, legal, compliance, and other corporate functions.
This position offers a unique blend of project management, business operations, strategic initiatives, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work on a variety of initiatives that support business growth, improve processes, and help drive execution across multiple areas of the organization.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate projects from planning through execution
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic business initiatives
- Track project milestones, risks, action items, and deliverables
- Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for management meetings
- Maintain project plans, business metrics, and operational reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and business processes
- Assist with business planning and special projects as organizational priorities evolve
- Coordinate communication among various internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of initiatives
- Support governance, documentation, and operational oversight activities
- Help drive accountability and follow-through across multiple workstreams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field
- Experience in project management, business management, operations, or a similar role within financial services
- Understanding of investment management, asset management, financial products, fund operations, or related environments preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting business initiatives within an investment management or financial services organization
- Exposure to operational process improvement initiatives
- Familiarity with project tracking, reporting, and stakeholder management
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities
