Accountant | Greater Cleveland Area
Join a growing organization seeking an experienced Accountant to support key financial operations and help drive process improvements across the business. This is a hands-on role with exposure to leadership and the opportunity to expand responsibilities over time.
What You’ll Do
* Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
* Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
* Assist with cash flow reporting and forecasting
* Handle sales & use tax filings and compliance activities
* Support inventory accounting, audits, and internal controls
* Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
* Recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting
* Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
* Advanced Excel skills
* ERP experience; NetSuite is highly preferred
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
* Manufacturing, distribution, inventory, audit, or public accounting experience is a plus
