Grants Accountant

We are currently partnering with a mission-driven organization on an exciting opportunity for a Grants Accountant to join their team in New York City. This role is ideal for an accounting professional seeking broad exposure across grant accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, compliance, and cross-functional finance operations.

Working closely with finance leadership, you will play a key role in supporting a portfolio of grant-funded programs while gaining exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reimbursement reporting, and various strategic initiatives. The position offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility while developing a well-rounded understanding of nonprofit finance and accounting operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4+ years of experience in grants accounting, general accounting, nonprofit accounting, or a related field, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Experience supporting grant-funded programs, financial reporting, budgeting, or audit activities is preferred.
