Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a local client in Washington, DC in their search for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented professional to support the Accounts Payable process in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring timely review and response to incoming invoices and communications
- Printing invoices and preparing them for entry into the accounting system
- Entering invoices into the system accurately and efficiently
- Printing and preparing batch reports for internal review and approval
- Participating in the weekly check run process, including preparing checks for signature
- Mailing checks to vendors and maintaining proper documentation
- Filing invoices and maintaining organized records for audit and compliance purposes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Abila MIP or similar accounting software is strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
