Our client in the McKinney area is seeking a Sr. Accounting Consultant to assist their department with system implementation. The Sr. Accounting Consultant will have experience in the following.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Lead and support finance and accounting teams through all phases of a system implementation
- Set up and test inventory modules, including BOMs, cost accounting, and valuation methods
- Provide accounting expertise (preferrable cost accounting) to ensure accurate standard cost development and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current workflows and assist with data mapping and migration
- Strong understanding GAAP with emphasis on WIP, overhead burdens, inventories, and roll-forwards
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in ERP or system implementation project
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA a plus
- Manufacturing or Cost Accounting experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with Innergy software is a plus
