Billing Coordinator/Clerk – Bethesda, MD
Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with an organization in Bethesda, MD seeking a Billing Clerk to join their finance team. This is a part-time role, working five days a week, and is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a background in billing and invoicing within a professional services or government contracting environment.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of billing experience, be proficient in Deltek Costpoint, and possess strong Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process accurate and timely invoices in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring compliance with contract terms and billing schedules.

Review and verify billing data for accuracy, including labor hours, expenses, and contract modifications.

Collaborate with project managers and accounting staff to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation.

Maintain organized billing records and ensure alignment with financial reporting requirements.

Assist with reconciliations and support month-end close processes related to billing activities.

Generate and update billing reports in Excel to support internal analysis and audit requirements.

Communicate effectively with internal departments and clients regarding billing inquiries or payment issues.
