Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper with strong administrative capabilities to support daily accounting operations and office functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Certification in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations, maintain accurate financial records, and support month‑end reporting.
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and expense tracking through QuickBooks.
- Assist with preparation of financial statements, taxable documents, and year‑end reporting.
- Provide administrative support such as document management, filing, scheduling, and communication handling.
- Maintain vendor records, W‑9s, and necessary compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with external accountants during audits or tax preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (certification preferred).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel and general office software.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal teams and external vendors.
