Our client in the Dallas, TX area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing team!
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong general ledger and construction in progress knowledge/experience who wants to grow in a team-focused environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Support accounting activities tied to capital projects, fixed assets, and inventory-related transactions
- Prepare and review journal entries, account analysis, and other general ledger activity
- Work with internal business partners to review financial data, identify issues, and help maintain accurate reporting
- Contribute to process improvements by helping the team reduce manual work and improve reporting efficiency
- Partner with a cross-trained team that values collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement
- Use Excel tools such as pivot tables and lookups to organize data, research variances, and support decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting degree preferred
- 2+ years experience required
- Ideal background includes strong accounting fundamentals, data analysis skills, and experience with tools like SAP, Power BI, RightAngle, or PDI
