Our client in the North Dallas area is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Accounting Department!
The Financial Accountant will have experience in the following.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting, for close-outs
- Maintain and reconcile the GL to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Perform close-out activities including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and account reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to audit inquiries
- Track oil and gas assets, analyze operating results, and collaborate with operations and partners on reporting and distributions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Oil and gas accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
