Staff Accountant – Arlington, VA
Beacon Hill is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong foundation in accounting principles and an interest in reporting, analysis, and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Review and maintain accurate financial records
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams on accounting and finance initiatives
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence tools preferred
- Exposure to SQL, Tableau, Python, or similar technologies is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
