Our client in the Dallas area is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their Accounting Team!
The Financial Reporting Accountant will have experience in the following.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures
- Support external reporting requirements, including preparation of SEC‑related filings
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather documentation for reporting packages
- Support internal accounting reviews and help create supporting documents
- Participate in audit support activities and coordinate responses to auditor requests
- Review reporting templates and checklists to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Assist with monthly close processes and reconciliations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) is required
